Michael Peterson is a Dallas based saxophonist. He leads a variety or ensembles under the name The Michael Peterson Group, and tours with his quartet, MPQT. Peterson’s playing is heavily rooted in the jazz tradition, however he is extremely interested in composing and improvising using sounds from all musical idioms.
