We could not have been more delighted with Sliver Lining Serenaders for our event. We hired them to play during a reception at our conference in December 2023 and they were an instant hit. Many of our guests pulled me aside to tell me how wonderful the group was, how having them there added a touch of class to our event, and asked me for their information.

Their music is truly wonderful. Ella has a once in a generation voice with timbre that brings you right back to the golden days of jazz. The band backs her up tastefully, balanced, and can certainly showcase themselves during solos. The selection was full of known standards that got folks moving to lesser known period pieces that perked the ears of all in the room. Their musicianship is exemplary, enjoyable, and down right fun.

Interacting with the band in the planning stage was also a delight. They were highly responsive, proactive, and organized. We worked out the details quickly, touched base once or twice in the days and weeks to come, and then texted day off. Each interaction was kind and productive. Once they arrived, we touched based on placement and volume details (they were sensitive and responsive to the space, event, and group needs) and then got to work.

I cannot recommend Silver Lining Serenaders more. And if I ever need a band for any event, professional or personal, and I'm in the area, you can bet I'm calling them back.
