Understanding that each client we work with has unique ideas in mind, The Straytones are incredibly flexible and can play as a 3-7 person band (ranging from a full-dance band to a laid-back, easy going ensemble). The band can include male and/or female lead vocals--including both is suggested for optimal musical greatness!
Oh man, what to say about the Straytones......I can only say that they absolutely made the entire wedding!! I'm convinced that even if I didn't show up the wedding would have still been a hit haha. I'm still getting phone calls asking for the name and contact info for our wedding band. I was a little worried at first, because I hadn't heard them live and had only seen their promotional video. It also took a lot for me to let them create their own set list and to trust their expertise, but all I can say is wow and I'm glad I did!! All I said was, I like soul and oldies with a few modern songs scattered in between. They came up with the perfect set list, which I'm sure works with almost every wedding!! I don't think people stopped dancing once (well except for when my maid of honor broke a beer bottle on the dance floor). I also, added the mandolinist and female vocalist. I'm so so so happy I did this, because both were incredible! One of my favorite memories of the night was my little 9 year old cousin getting up on stage and playing the mandolin (he thought the mandolinist was so cool!) They were great at emceeing. They got everyone's names right, made it fun, and kept everything on schedule. We had some pretty talented musicians as wedding guests and they were all amazed at how great the band was. We had people telling us it was the best wedding band they've ever heard. This all made the night so incredible and made us so happy knowing that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Our night would not have been what it was if we hadn't hired the Straytones! Don't think twice about it, just book them!!! It'll be the best decision you make!

We hired the Straytones for our Corporate Holiday Party. Everyone really loved the band. They were very professional, easy to work with and their performance was amazing. The musicians are all very talented and the singers were terrific. Would definitely hire for our next event.
I've never seen a dance party happen so quickly as when the Straytones took the stage and played their first songs. And by the end of the night, our wedding guests were screaming and cheering in delight, chanting "one more song"! These quality musicians with an infectious energy played a lengthy set that was varied and upbeat. I work in the music industry and plan private events and thus have seen a plethora of bands - I highly recommend The Straytones!!!

The Straytones did an absolutely incredible job at my company's holiday party! They were SUPER easy to work with and they are just a genuinely awesome group of guys. We will definitely be using them for any event in the future!
Working with Sean and The Straytones was an fantastic experience. They performed for my wedding in November and were able to cover everything from ceremony to cocktail hour and dance reception.
When I found them, I knew I had found the right band - their sound and the range of music that they can cover was spot on. Through the entire planning process, Sean was friendly and prompt in all of our correspondence, willing to help and give advice in any way he could. He was even willing to learn a custom song my father had written, which was amazing.
During the reception, The Straytones were the focal point of the party and they did not disappoint - my guests were raving about them all night! It was a pleasure to work with them and will recommend them to anyone.
I needed to change vendors last minute for a wedding ceremony, and Sean was so great organizing musicians for me! The songs the violinist and guitarist arranged were so beautifully played and were perfect for the ceremony. I wish I had found the Straytones earlier because they were a much better fit for me and my husband! I have a few friends who are getting married this year and they've all asked me for the band's information so they can book them for their receptions. Can't wait to see you guys again!
I planned a wedding for a friend last month, and I have to say, The Straytones have completely changed my mind about wedding bands. Not cheesy, not cliche, but talented, totally unique, and they paid great attention to the crowd.
There were over 300 people at the wedding and everyone one of them, old and young, were dancing most of the night. They played old wedding classics and a lot of newer music, which was a great mix for the crowd. They knocked it out of the park with their incredible song selection, outstanding vocal performances, and unique acoustic style.
They involved the crowd and kept everyone on their feet, and I heard only amazing things about them the entire night. Thank you guys!
We wanted a fun acoustic band to play our ceremony and reception, so we booked The Straytones. Our mouths were gaping at the talent on stage! We wanted a bigger ensemble, so Sean suggested a 6-piece band with male & female lead vocals, and the end result was a night full of gorgeous music and dancing. The two singers in the band were unbelievable together. Everyone kept coming up to us asking how we found our band, and since the wedding, we’ve gotten several calls asking for their information. My husband and I were looking for a dance band for our wedding that was awesome, dancey & energetic but not crazy loud. We found the Straytones and immediately knew they were our band! Sean worked famously with us, letting us choose between acoustic or electric and a 3, 4, 5, or 6 person band. Of course, we picked the full 6 person band. First, three of the bandmates played acoustic music during our cocktail hour. The violin was so beautiful that it had some of our guests in tears! And come party time, the full band played the greatest set of songs and had everyone dancing the whole night. We couldn't have made a better choice. Hire this band and don't look back!

For my wedding, I wanted something with a different flair - something non-traditional. The band offered a guitarist and violinist for my ceremony, and at my request, they even wrote a special arrangement of “Thank You” by Led Zepplin for the procession. It blew everyone away! Sean was so easy to work with and ultra accommodating. I was beyond impressed.
Topping off the wedding, the entire band then dazzled us at the reception playing an awesome collection of old-school songs and pop hits, all with violin and acoustic instruments! They had everyone dancing and rocking out until the early hours of the morning. Heath had an amazing voice--he could sing anything from Stevie Wonder to Adele!
