Not your average harp!
Tiffany Schaefer is a Cleveland-based Celtic harpist and singer, specializing in traditional Irish and Scottish songs and dance tunes (don't let anyone tell you that harp music can't be fun and lively!). Her enchanting music is perfect for a festival, house concert or St. Patrick's Day event. Tiffany also performs beautiful old tunes and love songs for Irish or Medieval themed weddings, or peaceful music for memorial services.
Duos and ensembles may also be available depending on your date; including different combinations of harp with fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, guitar, or storytelling.
Tiffany along with her friend Andrew performed for our residents at Generations Senior Living for our Saint Patrick's Day celebration. Tiffany is very kind and professional, communicated very well in the weeks leading up to our performance, and was very agreeable with the COVID restrictions we are still under within our community.
The performance was wonderful! Tiffany is a very accomplished player and lead the proceedings well with explanations and stories behind the songs she performed and filled our building with absolutely gorgeous music. Our residents loved the performance; it made our holiday celebration something new, unique, and special.
Tiffany did an amazing job at our wedding. She kept everything flowing and never missed anything. I would highly recommend her for her harp skills.
Response from Tiffany Schaefer, Celtic Musician:
Thank you for your kind review and for having me! What a beautiful place for a ceremony.
Tiffany is a wonderful, talented musician with a beautiful singing voice! She was a pleasure to work with, and added that perfect touch to our ceremony & cocktail hour. I can't believe her talents haven't yet been discovered by someone who would whisk her away to a life of fame! Scoop her up while you can!
Response from Tiffany Schaefer, Celtic Musician:
Thank you for your review Kate, it was a pleasure working with you and Ryan as well! Best wishes!
Tiffany played for both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Hands down, she was one of the highlights of the night. She plays and sings beautifully!! From beginning to end, Tiffany was a joy to work with. So incredibly happy we found her and I HIGHLY recommend her for any event or wedding.
Response from Tiffany Schaefer, Celtic Musician:
Thanks for your review and for having me Emily! I am glad I got to be a part of such a beautiful day!
I hired Tiffany to play at a memorial service and she did an amazing job. She was flexible as our plans changed a few times and very sensitive to the situation. Her music was beautiful and exactly what we needed to add a special touch as we honored my grandmother. Thanks so much
Response from Tiffany Schaefer, Celtic Musician:
Thank you for having me and for your kind review, Elizabeth.
Tiffany Schaefer performed her Celtic Harp privately for a Mother's Day surprise at my parent's house with both my elderly parents & myself present. Her amazing harp playing along with a most beautiful voice as well was such a great intimate experience. She was very gracious interacting with us and provided information including the background on poet lyrics on the musical arrangements she played, her particular instrument, and answered all the questions we asked as well. My favorites were a waltz titled Carol's West Coast Waltz, she had composed for her own mom(which was very appropriate for Mother's Day), the pieces where she added her own arrangement touch to, and most especially those tunes where she sang as she performed. Tiffany was more than willing to play pieces and songs I had requested which I had previously viewed which were among her many great You Tube videos. We enjoyed all her Irish/Scottish folk tunes (Arran Boat Song,The Fisherman's Song,The Cat That Kittled, Robert Burns tunes) along with her great vocals on The Salley Gardens & Ye Banks and Braes O' Bonnie Doon, as well as her fantastic performance of waltzes, religious tunes(O'Carolan's Ode to Joy,Gentle Maiden, Canon in D), Amazing Grace, and even The Coventry Carol /What Child is This which I had requested), and a variety of others. She performed The Singing Tree an enjoyable piece which was composed by a friend of hers. Her "Moon River", also displaying her great vocal & harp talents together, was a fantastic, unexpected and very memorable surprise. Her professionalism was very apparent from first contact. One would never be disappointed to have such a fantastic talent perform for them in for any occasion. If you are considering hiring a harpist, Tiffany Schaefer is the one you will want! Thank you Ms. Schaefer for making this the best, & a most excellent, extremely memorable, Mother's Day ! One that will always be memorable for all of us!
