Tom Weaver is an independent acoustic, singer/songwriter performer, performing pieces ranging from the 50's to modern top 40. He is based out of Auburn, NY, and has traveled and performed at many venues throughout New York State, and is currently performing gigs throughout most of Upstate New York, as well as throughout New York City. Tom Weaver is an independent acoustic, singer/songwriter performer, performing pieces ranging from the 50's to modern top 40. He is based out of Auburn, NY, and has traveled and performed at many venues throughout New York State, and is currently performing gigs throughout most of Upstate New York (including Auburn, Ithaca, and Syracuse), as well as performing at different venues around New York City.
After becoming a fan favorite at open mic night at Toby Keith’s Bar and Grill in Syracuse, Tom Weaver branched out to become a professional singer and songwriter. His EP will be released in Spring of 2016. The album was first started with Weaver’s late father and is now being self-produced. Several guest artists will be featured including Mettis Jacobs, Kris Pisano, Connor Donahue, and Payton Bird. Each artist brings talent from various genres to create a unique mix of style and tones to the album. The album has a natural sound to it with raw tracks and heartfelt lyrics.
Tom has most recently performed to a full Wescott Theatre in Syracuse, NY while opening for pop-star Aaron Carter. Weaver has also recently opened for 805, Triumph, and rapper Anormous Johnson. While Tom spends most of his time busking, or playing the streets and other public areas for tips and donations, his true image takes its shape while on stage. He has been a frequent performer at Bull and Bear Pub, Suzie's Tavern, Reese's, Auburn Correctional Recreation Center, Sunny Days of Ithaca, Osteria, Lewis’ Diner, The Admiral Inn in the Thousand Islands, "The Spot" in Alexandria Bay, CC’s Pub and Restaurant, Creekside Café, Riverbend Cafe, The Retreat, Flat Iron Grill, Cobblestone Pub, Parkers Bar and Grille, Agava, and many other venues across the region and state. After recently moving to New York City to further his musical career, Tom has played at a variety of venues including The Basement Bar in Brooklyn, and Pot Belly in Union Square. Tom has also been heard on Syracuse's 93Q radio station to thousands of listeners, been featured multiple times on WERW radio station at Syracuse University, and was featured on Newschannel 9 WSYR, Bridge Street, Extraordinary Talent of the Week.
