Tony took the time to prepare so that he knew the crowd and the reason they were gathered.
He had to learn tunes and play old ones to back up some pretty undistinguished singing and he did it with gusto and verve.
He fit in perfectly. His musicianship was obvious. We were lucky to have him. All agreed.
