Ian, you are a star! Thank you so much for making Elaine's retirement lunch one she -- and the rest of us -- will never forget. Elaine felt special and also appreciated which was our sincerest goal. Thank you!
Ian was super responsive and helped us design an experience that was really unforgettable. Ian lead our group of 20 through the busy streets of downtown Toronto -- in the middle of the day -- to our restaurant and retirement celebration. Ian was really funny and even engaged the passersby on the way there. My colleague Elaine is Scottish and the experience meant a lot to her.
Ian Goodtimes was an excellent piper and played the songs we requested for my father's funeral. He was friendly, professional, accommodating and respectful of the day. He lead the family into an old song by Vera Lynn "We'll meet again" and brought out his guitar so we could all sing along. My father was 98 when he passed and he would have loved to hear the pipes playing that day. I highly recommend Ian and happy to give him a 5 star rating. Thank you! Alanna McQuaid
Toronto Bagpiper was very good on the pipes and helped to make our wedding a truly unique event. There was a mix up with timing and he had to leave early which was unfortunate but he still put on a great show. I would recommend Toronto Bagpiper and would hire him again.
We used the Toronto Bagpiper for our wedding, and he was absolutely fantastic! We had no rehearsal before the wedding, so we were kind of winging a lot of it on the day, and he had no problem with that. He showed up half an hour before we were due to start, we explained to him briefly what we would like, and he nailed it, no problem. And to top it off, he led us out from the ceremony playing an excellent rendition of "Lick It Up" by Kiss, which we had arranged with him a few weeks before. A great musician who was very professional and very easy to deal with. I would highly recommend him!
Ian"The Toronto Bagpiper" was contracted to play at my father' s funeral. He was very professional and helpful at a most difficult time. He worked with the family to determine what type of music would be most appropriate and suggested the best times in the service for the bagpipes. The music he played was haunting and beautiful. As a result the funeral was exactly what we wanted for a well loved father. We couldn't have done it without the Toronto Bagpiper
Ian is not only a talented bagpiper, he is a real professional. He's on time, he's a really talented musician, he can learn songs in no time, and can play to the mood of your event. I would definitely recommend Ian and Toronto Bagpiper for any event that calls for something special.
My rating is so good—it looks like I'm over-selling it—but it's true! 5 stars on all those points.
Ian and his piping were the highlight of our Robbie Burns party. Ian looked amazing, played beautifully and even helped us toast the haggis! He really made it a special evening. All of our guests were just thrilled and we couldn't have been more delighted by the whole experience. Would recommend Toronto Bagpiper without hesitation.

Please bear in mind that bagpipes are LOUD! Indoors they are best served in a ceremonial capacity, for example piping in a guest of honour/bride. Playing outside the event works quite well as guests arrive, it also helps folks find the venue.
