Hi! My name is Jack McKay and I just moved to Philadelphia after completing my studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music. I have years of experience playing at weddings, cocktail parties, and other important events, and I am well versed in every kind of music you might want (e.g. classical, jazz, pop, religious, you name it!). I also play in string trios and quartets, and am happy to arrange an ensemble for any kind of event.

Price Range: $75-$100 an hour, per musician
Hey everyone! My name is Jack and I'm here to fulfill your classical music needs. I studied music performance for my Bachelors at McGill University in Montreal and have just received my Masters in Music Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Students at CIM study under the tutelage of members from the Cleveland Orchestra, one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world. I recently moved to Philly and can't wait to play for your private dinners, weddings, social events, corporate events, or anything else that you may be hosting. I can play solo viola music or I can gather a string trio for larger events. Please reach out for any questions.
The process for setting up a gig starts with a date. Once that is confirmed we can go over the specific pieces or type of music you would like. Most gigs should last between an hour to an hour and a half. Some larger gigs will require mics but other than that we bring all of our own equipment.
