We are an Acoustic Duo that plays upbeat pop, rock, and soul from 1970's - 2000, ranging from Sam Cook and the Beatles, to Sister Hazel and Jason Mraz. We offer a wide variety of music. However, we are not a dance band. Tim, a professional musician, studied music at Pacific Lutheran University and has played guitar and sang in a variety of musical acts. He also performed at Carnegie Hall in 2019. Sandra, a small town girl has spread her wings with her love of music to sing on stage with Tim. In 2021, we released our debut CD - Chasing Sunsets. Together, we will entertain you with our soulful, heartfelt style. We are available for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
If you are reading this review, stop reading and HIRE THIS BAND! Recently we hired Tim and Fred to play for our son's rehearsal party. We had chartered a boat on Lake Washington and floated the lake while being entertained by The Front. These are serious musicians with extraordinary playlists. At one point they had instruments in everyone's hands as we all sang along. The music was enjoyed by all age levels and truly made the party what it was. What a way to kick off a wedding weekend! Thank you Tim and Fred for making our event epic!
We hired Tim and the boys for our 4th of July bash. We were all impressed with their range of tunes they played, and the willingness to take requests. At one point they engaged the audience on a classic Stones song. Thank you and we look forward to having you guys back soon.
Tim and Fred played my wedding in August of 2013 along with a drummer (sorry this review is so late!) They played our wedding cocktail hour, ceremony and reception. They learned new songs that we requested and did a fantastic job. Great energy, sound and personalities. They provided all their own gear and loaned us a Mic for our toasts. My husband and I along with family and friends danced all night long and I highly recommend them!

Our acoustic set has a lot of fun and surprise built in. Our sets run from some very high energy songs to intimate ballads. We do take requests, and if we know it, we will definitely play it. We will also learn specific requests with enough advance notice for your special event. We truly enjoy performing and have played shows from small backyard gatherings, wineries, to exclusive resorts.
Tim Monaghan and Sandra Heart are the Wishflower band. We play a wide variety of music, including new hits and old classics, with everything from pop to rock to county. We are able to perform up to 3 sets of music, as needed. Wishflower is willing to travel in the surrounding area, and are available for events as well as club dates.
We have our own PA system that can be tailored to the smallest venue, or expanded for much larger gatherings. We also have a smaller battery powered system.

We grew up listening to everything from the 60's on, so the Beatles, Beach Boys, and Motown were huge influences on our harmonies. Moving into 70's and 80's, Tim learned to play guitar and began his professional music career playing top 40 and original music from that time. He has never stopped playing and continues to be influenced by the various music styles. Sandra has always loved Karen Carpenter, Jim Croce, and Bread.
