Amir did an amazing job for my wife’s surprise 40th birthday party. I was not expecting such a well-rounded bartender but in hindsight, I should have realized his capabilities in our initial communications. During those initial discussions Amir provided a list of drinks that would be popular for an adult’s birthday party and guidance on the amount of each type of beverage I should buy (e.g., liquor, beer, water, juice, etc.) provided the number of attendees and their age group.
On the day of the event, Amir showed up with enough time to set up the bar and begin to serve the guests as they arrived. I still expected that Amir would be limited to a menu of drinks, but through the remainder of the night, I was proven incorrect. Amir was able to make nearly any drink a guest requested, he is very good mixologist! Aside from being able to serve nearly any drink a guest requested, he has a great personality (funny and easy going). Our guests raved about both his bartending and communication skills, many have asked for his contact information. I can say without a doubt that the next time we need a mixologist, we’ll call Amir!

Amir really helped me out when it came to preparing for the party and buying the drinks/mixers, he made an excellent menu, and he was nothing short of a professional. My guests commented on his perfect manners, and craft when it came to bartending. He kept his workplace clean during the event and he helped clean up when the event was coming to an end. We hired Amir to bartend a birthday party we had this past weekend and he was wonderful! He is very outgoing and friendly and made all of our guests feel comfortable. He was dressed professionally, came prepared with his tools, table, and cooler, ready to make any drink our guests demanded. Prior to the party he helped design a menu that catered to our guests and made suggestions for a shopping list, etc. with some alternative options. This was the first time we have ever hired Amir, but I can assure that it won't be the last. Highly recommended!!
My girlfriend found GigSalad and posted a cocktail/birthday party for 75 people in Washington, DC. We needed a bartender to manage the alcohol so things remained relatively sane. The gig was from 8pm to 11pm and thinking nobody shows up for anything on time, we had Amir show up at 8:30pm.
YIKES! He walked into a hopping situation and handled it like a champ/pro he is! Not getting flustered, he took control of the bar and within 5 minutes had all under control. And man did he stay busy. Luckily I kept the alcohol menu real simple, so that helped him out, but he worked hard for those 21/2 hours. We had over 100 show up.
Even on the way to the event he called me and asked if I needed anything. Ice, 'I said!" So he walked in with ice in hand, as we were running low. Amir was great with the guests and kept the alcohol flowing responsibly.
His pricing for the gig beat all others who showed interest and he was a pleasure to work with. Need a bartender for your next event? If Amir answers your request for a quote, take a serious look at him. If we throw another event where a bartender is needed, Amir already has the job!!

I always loved to make drinks as long as I can remember. I started learning about alcohol even before my drinking age. WHAT? NO I didn't say was drinking it, I said I started learning about it :D so right after my 21th birthday! I realized that it can be my favorite student job during my college life.
Then, I went to Professional Bartending School to get the MIXOLOGIST Certificate, but it wasn't as easy as I thought! I studied very hard and practiced more than thirty hours a week for it. I passed all the tests with the highest scores and started to work as a bartender right after.
Private parties were where I liked to begin working and get to know a lot of awesome people like you! Since then, it's been 8 years that I'm working as a professional bartender.
