Hudson River Strings is a modular string ensemble. We can provide solo violin, solo viola, violin/viola duo, string trio, or string quartet for your event or recording.

We promise to both enhance the experience of the event for the guests/audience and also make the planner’s life simple. Our prior experience playing gigs has taught us how to be organized and how to communicate effectively with the planner. We will cater our performance to the specific audience and event.
We are members and regular substitutes of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. We attended various music conservatories and all have experience playing for all types of events and recordings.
Please let us know if it’s going to be too dark for us to read the music. If that is the case, we will bring stand lights. If the event is outside, we ask that covering is provided in case of rain and that we are not asked to play outside if the temperature is below 55 degrees F.
We can play any variety of classical and pop songs. Let us know in your message what you think will suit your event or recording, and we will accommodate any requests you have!
