I am a solo acoustic artist that specializes in 3-5 hour sets. I have covers and originals, and range in all different genres of music. I play guitar and sing most of the time, but every once in awhile I'll throw in some harmonica or piano.
I have appropriate music for all kinds of different events and love interacting with the crowds where ever I go.

At all of my live performances, I try to keep the audience involved, laughing and having a say in some of the stuff I play. It makes them feel like a part of the performance, and it makes me feel less nervous. I find that interaction can be the most important aspect in some venues and thrive to keep people coming back and wanting to see me. Sometimes I even leave out some paper so people can let me know what covers they'd like to hear from me next time, just to make sure they come back.
My attitude, language and song selection is all based on the venue and the crowd I'm playing for. I will always make sure that the song choices and jokes and such that are made are appropriate for the entire audience.
I started playing guitar at 10 years old, and recorded my first album and started performing live when I was around 17 years old. Just recently has live music become my job as well as something I love, which is very exciting to me. I play all around Austin as of now, and have a loyal group of followers and fans that love coming to live shows and showing love to the venues that give me the opportunity.
I do have a full PA system available to me almost 100% of the time. It is shared between my parents and I but with advanced notice, anything can be worked out.
I have a PA system available to me, including stands and all chords. If there is a PA already in the venue, I do know how to properly set up, break down and adjust for most systems. As far as lighting and staging goes, I'm not very picky. I have lighting equipment if necessary, but it all depends on the venue and how they'd like to conduct things.

I have about ten to twelve original songs that I also like playing every four to five covers or so. Depending on the venue, and the crowd, again, some songs will be edited or not played if it is not appropriate. Sometimes the set times are not long enough either, so some songs may get skipped due to timing.
Jewel has always been an influence of mine. She's really the reason I picked up guitar in the first place.
Right now, folk is growing on me and my influences are Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, and The Lumineers. As well as local artists like Shaky Graves. Love him!
