Davey Armstrong

When my dad passed away, our family knew we needed to have a bagpipe player at the funeral because of his love of Scotland & the bagpipes. From the very first call, Davey was wonderful. His lovely and flexible personality made working with him a joy. He gave us a great selection of songs to choose from and even learned a new song per my brothers' request to include in a medley. His presence on the day was solid, compassionate, & supportive. And his playing was essential both in the chapel & graveside during the service. We were thrilled to have him be part of saying goodbye to our father & are grateful he was there.

Davey has been our go-to performer for a bagpiper when we host large and small-scale, city-wide events. Programs like Veterans Day and Memorial Day events always have Davey performing. Hes' professional, friendly, talented, and easy to work with. He knows the client's needs are important and the public's experience is also key. He shows up on time, dressed in traditional clothing, and sets the tone for an excellent performance. We will again be contracting Davey for our upcoming Memorial event and any program that calls for his talented bagpiping skills.

Davey played Bagpipes for my father's celebration of life tribute party. We held the event in my front yard. He played several of my father's favorite traditional bagpipe songs. He also did an amazing rendition of Amazing Grace. It was a beautiful send off that would have made my father proud.
He is very friendly and fun to talk with.
