Flynn Martin is Eileen Flynn Bell and David Martin Peterson.
The two met through the Bay Areas music scene in 2015. They have since been a part of many projects, bands, festivals and events together. With a wide variety of musical influences and decades of experience between them as professional musicians, they bring depth and passion to everything they do. They breathe new life into familiar songs and guide the listener on a journey of the human experience
Eileen Flynn Bell
Eileen has been thrilling audiences with her powerhouse vocals and stage presence since her high school musical theater days. She was in her first band, The Uprights, in 1998. Her local break out moment was when she was a finalist for Karaoke Entertainer of the Year, San Francisco/Bay Area, 2009. Since then she has sung with many bands including Totally Dead, Mah-her, Stu Allen and Mars Hotel, David Gans, The Hot Mountain Dips, Muncie, and now with Flynn Martin. She has been a part of several album projects with numerous Bay Area musicians and has been seen on stage at many of the Bay Areas most iconic venues including The Great Ameican Music Hall, Slims and The Boom Boom Room. She counts as some of her primary vocal influences; Etta James, Ann Wilson, Janice Joplin, Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi to name just a few. Originally from Seattle, she has lived in California Since 2001.
David Martin Peterson
Dave has been playing music and gigging since 1993. He has played with countless bands including: The Hot Mountain Dips, Mah-her, The Meagher Mashup, Downtown Groove, The Secret Sauce Sorcerers, and has sat in with many Bay Area bands. Dave is a veteran of regional tours and festivals. He has headlined the Great American Music Hall with The Hot Mountain Dips, in addition to performing at Slim's, Sweetwater Music Hall, and many other clubs and venues in California. He is influenced by the guitar playing of Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green, Otis Rush, BB King, Paul Kossoff of Free, John Fahey, Bert Jansch, among many others. Dave is a Bay Area native currently living in the East Bay.
