It was such a pleasure welcoming Laura Joy and Dave to play at the surprise party I threw for my parents. They communicated wonderfully before the event and even sent a sweet follow up note after the party. The day was stressful with coordinating and planning the party but the bright spot was the wonderful entertainment Laura Joy and Dave provided and their perfect punctuality and organization. My guests loved them and several even asked for their card before they left. They were the perfect addition to a wonderful night and I'm so appreciative for their flexibility, adaptability and professionalism.
Laura was a five star booking in all dimensions. She not only has a versatile voice, but is able to learn new songs at a quick pace. She picked up two originally written songs with minimal direction all in matter of hours. The high level of talent is also combined with her reliable communication -- all replies made within hours sometimes minutes of the original message. Book Laura if you are looking for a great artist and even better person. You won't regret it.
Laura played guitar and sang with Dave on guitar. They played a 45 minute set and a 50 minute set. Laura over delivered with a performance and presence that made many wonder aloud, "What is she doing here?". A beautiful voice with a great song list made for a memorable night. Laura is an entertainer who gave the crowd some magical moments.
Laura was the perfect pick for our engagement. She has an amazing voice! We could not have been happier. Also, she stayed in contact and is very reliable!
Laura was easy to work with, and very accommodating when asked to learn a new song at the last minute. Laura has one of the most beautiful voices. The guests at the party absolutely loved her, and asked for copies of her CD.

I hired Laura Joy to perform at my wedding. She sounded absolutely beautiful & sweet. She was so easy to work with and highly adaptable. She is an extremely talented musician. I would highly recommend hiring her!!!! I only wish I would have booked her for longer.
A non-profit organization I volunteer with had decided to put on a seminar/celebration event and we were looking for some great entertainment to round out the night. I searched on Google and came across this website with Laura's profile. Her description sounded like what we were looking for, and sure enough, she was exactly what we were looking for! Laura provided excellent communication all the way up to the event, was very professional and accommodating, and provided absolutely wonderful music for our event.
