Whether you're booking me for a solo gig, or with one of my americana/folk bands, you can expect the utmost professionalism. In addition to performing, I've worked for Live Nation in a 2,000 capacity venue that hosted events ranging from international touring artists to fortune 500 corporate parties and weddings. I understand that the value in being the main act, and how it's just as important to know when to lay back and be a contributing factor of the ambience.

Raised in Union County, NC, Taylor grew up with musically enriched surroundings. From playing whiffle ball with Emmylou and the Nash Ramblers at Merle Fest in his early childhood, to soaking up his elder's pickin' by the camp fire, the sounds of Bluegrass & Americana music were engrained at an early age. After several years of gigging in jam inspired bands out of Wilmington, NC, Taylor eventually found his way back to the acoustic vibes he was raised on. Inspired and influenced by the likes of John Prine, Jerry Garcia and Ryan Adams, his sound is soulful and subtle with just enough twang. He performs regularly in and around Charlotte, both as a solo singer/songwriter act as well as playing mandolin for other local groups.
